The Novation Peak is a hybrid 8-voice polyphonic synthesizer combining digital oscillators with analog filters and distortion for a rich, complex sound. Its three Oxford oscillators per voice use FPGA-based New Oxford Oscillators, capable of generating both traditional waveforms and wavetables. Each voice features a resonant analog multimode filter, giving it both warmth and clarity.
Modulation options are extensive, with a 16-slot modulation matrix and three ADSR envelopes paired with two LFOs. Onboard effects include reverb, delay, and chorus, while the arpeggiator and aftertouch-enabled keybed make it a powerful performance tool. With MIDI, CV, and USB connectivity, the Peak is perfect for modern hybrid setups.
